UNESCO MGIEP aims to mobilize the world’s youth to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals through transformative acts of kindness. #KindnessMatters campaign attempts to create a positive culture of kindness, in which every young person's selfless act matters!

How can my child participate?

To participate, your child can submit his/her act of kindness on Canvas. These acts of kindness can be submitted in the form of images, drawings, videos, poems, stories, or handwritten notes.

Where can they upload their work?

Your child can upload their acts of kindness on Canvas. Canvas is India’s first digital portfolio made exclusively for children. It’s a safe space for them to share their artworks, yoga pictures, dance videos and other creative work. They can also make new friends, get feedback from experts and share their creativity with the world! Watch this video to know more.

What is an Act of Kindness?

An "Act of Kindness" is any act of goodness that you do towards yourself, others, or nature. From watering a plant to feeding a stray animal, from meditating for inner peace to helping an elderly person, it all counts.
